The Night Of The Living Banana
This was the last live performance of Popacatepetl, Phase 1. Due to recently entering into a state of fatherhood, Don Simon Del Monte (the man named after two kinds of fruit juice) could not be with us. Phase II will involve no less than three percussionists.

Phase II will also see the development of a multi-media musical entertainment featuring the band and two or three actors. Working title of the show is "Welcome To Santa Banana" and four new songs have already been written for it. (If you are an actor and are interested please contact us.)

Despite it being a rainy night on Friday and despite a publicity farandole, the turnout was good and we had a great evening. The audience was lovely. It had lovely eyes... and so many of them!
