The DestinyTV project is no longer running, but the site is maintained as an archive of the activities and great community videos produced in 2002 and 2003. Thanks to all participants, Somervale School and sponsors who made the project possible. We are glad that you have found us, whether you have come to watch the programmes that our community teams have been working on, or for information about video production and the many ways in which DestinyTV can be of use to you. We are a community-based video production facility in Norton Radstock and this website is an online showcase for the collaborative efforts of our production teams. The members of the DestinyTV teams decide what to make, plan their productions, film them, edit them and prepare their final products for exhibition online and at local screenings. You can view their current videos in the Videos section. We are always looking for new crew members and people with ideas, so if you live in the Norton Radstock area read on, watch the movies and be inspired. Tutorials on various aspects of video production have started to appear in our KnowledgeBase section. Take a look, they might be of use to you if you are learning to make videos. We will be adding to them over the next few months, and welcome submissions of articles or tips from our readers. Browse our site if
you are interested in digital media production, writing, acting, presenting,
directing, camerawork, storyboards, interviewing, sound, editing, set
design, publicity, interaction or broadcasting video on the web. Do you
want to gain valuable media skills and practical experience? Have you
always wanted to make that idea into a programme but never had the means
to do it? Or perhaps you have the makings of a TV star with a need for
a showreel?
